Speaker to discuss diversity at MLK celebration
The Office of Campus Life at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock is sponsoring a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration that will include a keynote address by diversity consultant, T. Leon Williams, at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, in the Donaghey Student Center, Ledbetter Room C.
Williams will draw from his 20 years of multicultural affairs experience to deliver the talk, “Bias in the Face of Diversity,” where he will address how to facilitate difficult dialogues.
A reception will follow the keynote address at 1:30 p.m.
Williams is Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Academic Success and Character Education, LLC in Charlotte, North Carolina.
