Customers can shop tax free at the UALR bookstore this weekend

Little Rock, Ark. (July 28, 2015) — Good news for back-to-school shoppers at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bookstore: The state is about to take a 48-hour tax holiday.

Textbooks, school supplies and Trojans-themed clothing are among the items people can buy at the store without paying sales tax on Saturday and Sunday.

The UALR Bookstore, located on the lower level of the Donaghey Student Center, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and customers also can place online orders at www.ualr.bkstore.com to take advantage of the tax-free savings by 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
