Restaurant sales to help the UALR Ethics Bowl team

Ethics bowl participants

The Purple Cow is making it easy to support the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Ethics Bowl team.

From 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at the 8026 Cantrell Road location in Little Rock, a portion of the restaurant’s proceeds will be donated to the fund for UALR’s college Ethics Bowl squad.

Hamburgers, veggie burgers, and even milkshakes are available at this locally owned restaurant.

Those who want to participate must bring a flyer or tell the server that the purchase is intended to support the UALR Ethics Bowl squad.

The team competed in February 2015 at the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl National Championship and placed 22nd in the nation.

UALR has the only Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl team in Arkansas and has qualified for the national competition three times in the past four years.

The Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl is an academic competition that provides an educational and valuable experience in professional and practical ethics. The competition covers a variety of issues, from professional and medical ethics to social and political issues. The Association for Practical and Professional Ethics organizes the competition.
