UA Little Rock to host Community Coding Night Dec. 4

CSforAR will partner with UA Little Rock’s STEM Education Center, computer science, and information science departments to host a Community Coding Night Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 5-8 p.m. in the EIT Auditorium in celebration of Computer Science Education Week.

The event is open to all ages and no prior experience in computer science or coding is necessary to attend. Featured technologies include: Makey-Makey, ChatBots, robotics, Swift Playground, Xcode, Virtual Reality, algorithms and algorithm analysis, and much more.

The event is free and open to the public. Licensed Arkansas teachers who attend will receive up to three hours of professional development credit. Attendees are asked to RSVP at http://bit.ly/NightOfCoding.
