UA Little Rock to host Arkansas Gerontological Society Spring Conference

The Arkansas Gerontological Society will hold its 2019 Spring Conference, “Aging on the Upside,” on Thursday, April 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Donaghey Student Center.

Presentation topics at this year’s conference include the ethical implications of religion and spirituality, intergenerational family relationships, living with hypertension and congestive heart failure, support groups for people with Alzheimer’s, the upside of caring for people with dementia, and more.

Vendors will be on campus and a silent auction will also be held. A full schedule of events can be viewed here.

The cost of attendance is $90 for a regular participant or $50 for non-working retirees. To register, mail your registration form to P.O. Box 2371, Little Rock, AR 72203 or register online.

Students may attend individual presentations for free by registering with Dr. Rosalie Otters at rvotters@ualr.edu.
