Librarians Present at National Conference
Dr. Wanda Dole, dean of UALR’s Ottenheimer Library, and J.B. Hill, director of Ottenheimer’s public services, participated in a panel presentation on community users at the Conference of the American Library Association in Washington, D.C.
Their presentation, “Assessing Community Users in an Academic Library,” reported on efforts to assess the library needs and behaviors of community members from the Little Rock area.
The session was part of the annual program of the Library Leadership and Management Association’s Measurement, Assessment and Evaluation Section.
John Siegel, Ottenheimer’s instruction coordinator, presented his research on undergraduate library instruction with a poster session titled, “MythBusters to the Rescue: Engaging Developmental Education Students in Library Instruction.”
