Scientists Present Research at BioNanoTox Conference Oct. 23-24
Scientists and researchers focusing on biology, nanotechnology, and toxicology will present and discuss their research Oct. 23-24 at the global third annual BioNanoTox and Applications Research Conference hosted by UALR.
The conference provides opportunities for researchers in chemistry, biology, nanotechnology, toxicology, and medicine to share their knowledge and applications on optimizing health care and control infections.
Scientists expected to lead the discussion sessions include Dr. Jeff Gaffney, chair of UALR’s Department of Chemistry; Dr. Jerry Darsey, UALR chemistry professor; Dr. Andres Caro, assistant professor of biology at Hendrix College; Dr. Michael Borrelli, director of Radiology Research at UALR; Dr. Hans Mannherz, biology professor in Bochum, Germany; Dr. Raphael D. Lsokpehi, Jackson State University; and Dr. Alexei Basnakian, associate professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Abstracts or papers are posted on the conference website.
Sessions include bridging the gap between biology, chemistry, nanotechnology and their applications for medicine, environmental science, and agriculture; highlights in the field of chemistry and chemical applications, biology foundations, computational sciences as a powerful tool and their applications; material science and nanotechnology and the other highlights in the field of nanoscience; and markers and modulators of cell and tissue injury.
