UALR’s College of Business Professional Edge Series will include a mixer with students and employers from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, in the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Business and Economic Development atrium.

More than 100 students will participate in the event that provides an opportunity to meet employers currently recruiting including Aflac; Aramark Uniform Services; Aristotle; Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield; Arvest Bank; ASI Professional Environmental Services; C.H. Robinson Worldwide; Chenal Country Club; Enterprise Rent-A-Car; HP; Kiewit Southern Co.; Mangan Holcomb Partners; PDC Companies; Perks.com; NCR Corporation; Ramsey, Krug, Farrell, & Lensing; Sage V Foods;  Securitas; State Farm Insurance; Target; The Heritage Company; University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences; USA Truck; and U.S. Bank.

Employers will be segmented by major disciplines offered in the College of Business, and students will be identifiable according to their declared majors. The recruiting event will begin with a speed interviewing format, allowing employers and students to engage in two to four minute interviews on a rotation basis. Each employer will receive a booklet with the candidates profiled, and students will supply resumes during the event. After the speed interviewing, participants will continue networking during a reception.
