Egypt Panel Rescheduled for Noon Friday

UALR professors with strong ties to Egypt and the Middle East will comment on what the future may hold for the country and its effect on the U.S. in a panel discussion at noon Friday, Feb. 25.

The event, postponed on Feb. 4 because of winter weather, is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Middle Eastern Studies Program.

Panelists include Dr. Jacek Lubecki, professor of political science and coordinator of the Middle Eastern Studies Program; Dr. Clea Bunch, professor of history and chair of the Middle Eastern Studies Committee; Dr. Amin Akhnoukh (AHK’-nuk), professor of construction management and a native-born Egyptian; and Dr. Krista Lewis, professor of anthropology and a member of the Middle Eastern Studies faculty.
