IEA Hosts FEMA Assistance Session

The Institute for Economic Advancement is hosting a “Back to Business” work session sponsored by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) for Arkansans who were impacted by disasters that occurred between April 14 and June 3. The deadline to apply for FEMA assistance is Aug. 1.

The free informational session will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 14, on the UALR campus in the Engineering and Information Technology building, Room 142. Parking will be available in Lot 3.

Experts from the following agencies will provide program information and answer questions:

  • FEMA Hazard Mitigation, the National Flood Insurance Program, and Individual Assistance
  • U.S. Small Business Administration
  • Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at UALR
  • Internal Revenue Service
  • U.S. Dept. of Agriculture – Department of Farm Services
