UALR Plant Engineer Robin Sipes of the Physical Plant-Engineering Department has completed the training and received his certification from the Association of Energy Engineers to be a Certified Energy Manager.

Since its inception in 1981, the certified energy management credential has been widely accepted and used as a measure of professional accomplishment with the energy management field. Sipes joined UALR in February 2007. His work in the Physical Plant contributes to UALR’s overall sustainability efforts.
