UALR Foundation Fund Board welcomes new board members, elects officers
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Foundation Fund Board of Directors recently welcomed four new members following their election to the board.
The four new members are:
• Mark Pollack, president of Affirmative Risk Management Corp., an insurance claim settlement company, graduated from UALR in 1999 and is a member of the UALR Alumni Association. He and his wife Patti have been long-time supporters of the UALR Trojans.
• Wade Partridge, president of Pear Tree Wealth Management of Little Rock, a financial planning and wealth management firm, has been instrumental in securing private support for the UALR Benton Center while serving on the UALR Benton Advisory Board. His leadership has already secured $300,000 in private donations and new pledges in the first year of a three-year, $450,000 campaign for UALR.
• Jane McKinney, also a graduate of UALR and a lifetime member of the Alumni Association, has an extensive business career in sales and marketing that took her outside Arkansas after college. She and her husband, Richard Tripodi, have relocated back to Little Rock, where she has served on the board of the Arkansas Symphony since 2009.
• Don Overton, owner of The Overton Law Firm located in Little Rock, is a 1992 graduate of Auburn University. He earned a degree in construction management from UALR in 2005 and a juris doctor from the UALR Bowen School of Law. Overton’s firm engages in construction law and tax law.
The board also recently elected new board Chair John Dominick Jr., senior vice-president at Bank of America, and Vice-chair Sheila Castin, president of Pulaski County Democratic Women.
The UALR Foundation Fund Board of Directors meets four times each year to oversee the activities of the foundation fund.
