Students at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock are encouraged to participate in the annual Service Fair and discover more about the many volunteer opportunities available with at least 25 organizations in the area.

The Service Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the upper concourse of the Donaghey Student Center at UALR.

Local representatives will be available from organizations such as Easter Seals, Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, Heifer International, Keep Arkansas Beautiful, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, just to name of few.

The UALR Office of Community Engagement sponsors the fair each year to raise awareness about the variety of service-minded businesses and agencies who work with UALR students to provide service learning opportunities.

Students can speak directly with the representatives to receive information about each organization’s mission and the variety of opportunities available.
