UALR’s online graduate counseling program ranked fourth overall

The 2015 ranking of the top schools for online graduate counseling degrees has been published, and UALR ranks fourth in the nation, according to a list published by bestmastersprograms.org.

The publication is committed to linking potential students to high quality educational opportunities. The rankings help prospective students make smart choices about where to invest their time and money in earning their graduate degree.

UALR joins other prestigious institutions on the list, including third-ranked Creighton University and second-ranked George Washington University.

The Master of Arts in Counseling with emphasis in Rehabilitation Counseling program, also known as the Rehabilitation Counseling Program at UALR, is a fully accredited 60-hour online graduate degree program that seeks to prepare rehabilitation counseling professionals to provide direct services and resource coordination for individuals with disabilities.

Apart from two mandatory three-day on-campus workshops, the entire program is offered online.

A primary objective of the Master of Arts in Counseling with emphasis in Rehabilitation Counseling Program is to prepare graduates to qualify for national certification as rehabilitation counselors.
