Wigand Presents at Digital Government Conference

Dr. Dianne L. Wigand, assistant professor and coordinator of the masters of public administration program in UALR’s Institute of Government, is attending the 11th annual International Conference on Digital Government Research in Puebla, Mexico, this week.

She is presenting a paper titled, “Twitter Takes Wing in Government: Diffusion, Roles and Management.”

The MPA program at UALR provides professional management, analytical, and leadership skills, and the understanding of public policy issues needed for management and policy positions in national, state, regional, and local government, and the nonprofit sector. The MPA is designed for both in-service and pre-service students and can be tailored to focus on individual professional and career goals. The program’s position within the UALR Institute of Government and at the seat of state government in Arkansas offers unique opportunities for internships and other practical experiences.
