Civil Rights Leader Bond to Give Lecture at UALR

Civil rights leader Julian Bond, chair of the NAACP, will present this years’ Winthrop Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture at UALR Wednesday, Feb. 21, funded by the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation. Bond’s lecture will be free and open to the public.

Bond’s lecture, “Civil Rights in the Day, Today, and Tomorrow,” will be held at the UALR Center for Performing Arts beginning at 4:30 p.m.
