New Commissioned Work for UALR Concert Choir Opens March 13

A new choral work by Little Rock composer Stratsimir Pavlov commissioned by UALR will open at a March 13 performance by the UALR Concert Choir under the direction of Dr. Bevan Keating.

The new work, Mirrors for the Mind, will debut at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in UALR’s Fine Arts Building. Admission is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available in Lot 8 adjacent to the Fine Arts Building.
The composer will introduce the new work at the beginning of the concert and will conduct a post-performance question-answer session with the audience.

Pavlov, a native of Bulgaria, is the principal coach-accompanist and the assistant conductor at Wildwood Park for the Performing Arts.
