Bach Foundation Brings Affordable Housing to LR, Thanks to UALR Class
The Bach Foundation, a New Jersey-based non-profit organization that stands for Building Affordable Communities and Housing, is establishing an operation in Little Rock, thanks to a UALR online class.
According to Arkansas Business, the Bach Foundation’s chair Ann McIntyre of Camden, N.Y., became interested in Little Rock after she completed an online law class offered by UALR’s William H. Bowen School of Law taught by Arkansas Court of Appeals Judge Terry Crabtree, who died in January.
The 15-year-old foundation that operates in New Jersey and in Rockaway, N.Y., is establishing an office in Little Rock and will begin buying and renovating houses and reselling them to low-income buyers.
