Applications Open for UALR’s LR Writing Project’s Summer Institute
Applications are now being accepted for the Little Rock Writing Project’s four-week Summer Invitational Institute at UALR.
The project, a part of the National Writers Project and UALR’s Department of Rhetoric and Writing, invites teachers from pre-K to the college freshman level from across the curriculum to apply for the institute and qualify for six hours of graduate credit.
Tuition, fees, and books for all participants are paid for through grant funding.
Each year, the Little Rock Writing Project seeks some of the best teachers in the central Arkansas area for the Summer Institute. Approximately 14 teachers will be invited, following an application and interview process.
For more information about the institute, call the Little Rock Writing Project at (501) 944-2174. More information and the application are available at https://rhetoricandwriting.ualr.edu/lrwp .
