Labor-Workforce Expert Discusses Baby Boom Retirement Crisis March 21

Dr. Ed Gordon, an internationally recognized expert researcher on labor-market and workforce development, literacy, educational reform, and history, discusses his most recent book The 2010 Meltdown: Solving the Impending Job Crisis or When the Baby Boomers Retire, Who Will Replace Them? at UALR’s next Business Forum.

The program begins at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in UALR’s Fine Arts Building. It will followed by a wine and cheese reception.

Gordon has spoken to over 100,000 people on behalf of major corporations, such as Microsoft and Motorola, the U.S. Departments of Education and Labor, state agencies in California, New York and other states; professional organizations such as Human Capital Institute; and numerous universities on this issue critical to any organization that employs skilled workers.
