The College of Business will host an MBA Open House from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, for students interested in pursuing a master of business administration (MBA) degree. The Open House will be held in the atrium of the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Business and Economic Development.
Dr. Robert Oliva, chair of UALR’s Department of Accounting, and Dr. Roger Dorsey, an instructor in the department, wrote a recent article that appeared in Practical Tax Strategies that will be re-published with updated information in the upcoming issue of its sister publication, Business Entities.
A team of graduate students who work for the Institute for Economic Advancement in the UALR College of Business won the Windows Azure Award for a computer platform designed to make medical data available to researchers around the world, officials of Microsoft Inc.’s Imagine Contest announced Tuesday.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC), part of the UALR College of Business, will receive a $100,000 grant to fund programs for veterans that promote business ownership and provide services to small businesses dealing with the deployment of key personnel overseas, the U.S. Small Business Administration has announced.
