Dr. Michael T. Ledbetter, a former science officer at the National Science Foundation and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, will present a lecture Monday, April 12, showing evidence that the Earth is warming and what steps should be taken to reverse the trend.
UALR broadened the scope of its annual International Celebration Day to include a week filled with activities designed to enhance inter-cultural awareness and understanding, including films, panel discussions, an international Thanksgiving, and an interfaith dialogue lunch.
UALR German Studies will present a symposium, workshop for teachers, and feature films with the theme “Perspective, Progress, and Promise” celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the German reunification.
