Dr. Don Willis is an assistant professor of sociology in the Sociology and Anthropology Department at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, a Master of Arts in sociology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Missouri in Columbia. His research interests include social inequality and health disparities with a particular focus on food insecurity and youth populations. My dissertation research focused on the non-nutritional pathways through which food insecurity impacts college students health and social lives.
He is the co-editor of “A Place-Based Perspective of Food in Society.”
