De’Ja K. Johnson, a native Arkansan, is a success coach in the Academic Affairs Retention Office. She is a proud double UA Little Rock graduate, having obtained her Bachelor of Arts and master’s degree in applied communication with a concentration on Interpersonal Relationships.
In her role as a success coach, Johnson hopes to inspire students to define success on their terms and help them achieve their own unique version of personal success. Not only is she committed to helping students on their academic journey, she aims to empower students to explore personal development beyond the classroom, as well. In her free time, Johnson enjoys curating content as a relationship blogger where she educates and celebrates the benefits of being single.
A lifelong learner, Johnson is currently pursuing professional certifications from the International Association of Professions Career College (IAP) and the Association for the Coaching and Tutoring Profession (ACTP) in the areas of interpersonal relationships, academic and life skills coaching.
