Clifton Adamson is a third-year doctoral student of School Psychology at the University of Central Arkansas and an alum of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Department of Psychology. Currently, Mr. Adamson is serving as a practicum student in a local school. His research focuses on the sexual identity and sexual identification of adolescents; while examining protective factors that promote student well-being and academic success. His future goals include working with LGBTQ youth in public schools.
Recently, Mr. Adamson was chosen as a Diversity Graduate Travel Award Winner for the 2019 SPSP Convention! Of the 150 applications, Clifton was selected to be the recipient of this travel award and title. He will be featured with other recipients at the conference and on the SPSP convention website. As a side note, the work he is presenting at this conference relates to work that was presented to the Dean’s Advisory Council earlier this year.
