Join us for a fun ATLE Teaching Moment in the Campus Garden where Peter Stuckey will talk with us about the European Honeybee and its management. We’ll learn about honeybee casts, life cycle, hives, honey, and even get to open and examine several hives (some protective outwear will be provided). Peter has been keeping honeybees since 2012, and feels he knows a lot about honeybees; however, his honeybee pets often let him know how much he doesn’t know.
RSVP online form will be available a week before the event (sent also through email). Lunch will be provided.
All faculty are encouraged and invited to attend. This event will earn you 10 points toward your next ATLE award.
