History Alive: Virtually! is a digital humanities project created by the UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture to support Arkansas educators and students interested in using archival documents in the social studies classroom. In this talk, we will discuss how the project came about in the midst of the global pandemic in response to new challenges faced by Arkansas teachers and students; how the resources that we compiled and created can be used in the classroom; and how anyone interested in Arkansas history and its connections to American and world history can enjoy History Alive: Virtually!
