Strengthening Arkansas Families Conference

UA Little Rock/MidSOUTH will host the 2023 Strengthening Arkansas Families Conference: Safer Children, Healthier Families, Stronger Communities. This will be a dynamic, in-person event on the UA Little Rock Campus. The conference is presented by UA Little Rock/MidSOUTH and is supported by partial funding from the Arkansas Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

The conference committee has put together a two-and-a-half day event filled with inspiring keynote presentations and workshops focused on tools and strategies to support the Arkansas DCFS Practice Model: At One Table, introduce and/or improve the use of Safety Organized Practice in work with children and families, and increase awareness and utilization of prevention programs in Arkansas.
