The Race and Ethnicity minor will provide an overview of the key concepts and issues in the interdisciplinary study of race and ethnicity.

Students will be introduced to complex issues such as the social construction of race and ethnicity, white privilege, and the role of media in that construction. You will also learn about the history of race and ethnicity in the United States, the effect of immigration on conversations about race, and more.
