Other University scholarships can stack with the each Admissions scholarship. Once a student has been nominated for either Admissions scholarship, they cannot be nominated by another counselor or career coach. You can submit a new nomination; however, your award cannot be divided between two students.

On Friday, Oct. 04, 2024, 140 counselors and career coaches attended the 2024 Counselor Luncheon. As a thank you for attending, you can now nominate one of your students for your Counselors Excellence Award. It’s our way of saying thank you for all your hard work.

This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the student by the Office of Financial Aid after your nomination. Your student will see it on their awards as an “Admissions” or “Recruitment” scholarship, and it will be divided into two $,1000 awards and applied to the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 terms.

Counselors and career coaches will receive two $1,000 scholarships for each bus of students their school brought to Discover on Thursday, Oct 31, 2024. | Each $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the student by the Office of Financial Aid after your nomination. Your student will see it on their awards as an “Admissions” or “Recruitment” scholarship, and it will be divided into two $500 awards and applied to the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 terms.
