Alumni Merit Scholarship
Two Alumni Merit Scholarships in the amount of $5,000 ($2,500 per semester) will be awarded annually. The funds may be used for any education related expense. These scholarships are renewable but recipients must reapply annually.
Renewal applications will be approved automatically subject to the recipient’s continued eligibility and contingent upon the availability of funds. An online application must be completed for all renewals. Financial need statements and recommendation letters are not required for renewal applications. The essay is required for renewals and should be an update of your current status and plans.
- Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or higher.
- Strong preference will be given to undergraduate students
- The student’s accomplishments and financial need are considered.
- Graduate students are eligible to receive the Alumni Merit Scholarship.
Annual Fund Scholarship
The Annual Fund Scholarships in the amount of $500 will be awarded annually to the highest-scoring students that did not receive an Alumni Merit Scholarship.
Owen W. Parker, Sr. and Merrily Parker Endowed Scholarship
Two Owen W. Parker, Sr. and Merrily Parker Endowed Scholarships in the amount of $5,000 ($2,500 per semester) will be awarded annually. The funds may be used for any education related expense. These scholarships are renewable but recipients must reapply annually.

The E. Grainger and Frances B. Williams Endowed Scholarship
The E. Grainger and Frances B. Williams Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to one UA Little Rock student. Funds may be used to cover any education related expenses.
- Applicants must be School of Business students.
- Preference will be given to junior and senior level students with a 2.25 – 2.5 GPA.
- Financial need will be considered over academic accomplishment.
- Recipient may re-apply and compete for the scholarship each spring.
The Alfred L. Williams Endowed Alumni Scholarship
The Alfred L. Williams Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to one UA Little Rock student. Funds may be used to cover any education related expenses.
- Preference will be given to sophomore, junior, and senior level students with a 2.25 – 2.5 GPA.
- Financial need will be considered over academic accomplishment.
- Recipient may re-apply and compete for the scholarship each spring.
The Elaine Eubank Endowed Scholarship
The Elaine Eubank Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to one UA Little Rock student. Funds may be used to cover any education related expenses.
- Applicants must be a junior or senior majoring in business.
- Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or higher.
- Preference will be given to students with financial need, as well as the student’s desire to work in the non-profit industry.
- Recipient may re-apply and compete for the scholarship each spring.
The John A. Larson Scholarship Fund
The John A. Larson Scholarship will be awarded to one UA Little Rock student. Funds may be used for tuition, books, and fees.
- Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Academic accomplishment and financial need will be considered.
- Recipient may re-apply and compete for the scholarship each spring.
Diana and Paul Nolte Endowed Scholarship
The Diana and Paul Nolte Endowed Scholarship is an award covering any educational related expenses.
- The recipient shall be a full- or part-time student perusing an undergraduate degree.
- The recipient shall be a single parent.
- Financial need will be strongly considered.
- The recipient must have a 2.50 GPA or above.
- The applicant must complete the application with an essay requirement.
- Recipients shall write a letter of appreciation to the donors, which shall serve as their official notice of acceptance.
- The scholarship is renewable, but the recipient must reapply annually.
June H. Williams Elementary Education Scholarship
The June H. Williams Elementary Education Scholarship is an award to cover any educational related expenses.
- The recipient shall be a full- or part-time student majoring in Elementary Education.
- Financial need will be considered.
- Recipients shall write a letter of appreciation to the donors, which shall serve as their official notice of acceptance.
- The scholarship is renewable, but the recipient must reapply annually.
FAQs
When will my application be reviewed? A panel of alumni will review applications during the Spring semester.
Will I be asked to participate in an interview? If your application is chosen, you will receive a phone call to schedule an interview with a panel of alumni.
When will scholarships be awarded? Funding is applied to a recipient’s account on the eleventh day of class for Fall and Spring semesters, and varies if funds are being applied for summer school.
Are Alumni Association Scholarships available to undergraduates only? Graduate students may apply for the Alumni Merit Scholarship.
