Annual School of Art and Design Art Student Competitive Juried Exhibition

March 25 at 9:00 am - April 21 at 5:00 pm

The Annual Art Student Competitive Juried Exhibition features School of Art and Design student artwork created since last year’s student competitive. Student’s have a year’s worth of artwork eligible for submission for this year’s juror to select from. This includes artwork reviewed and graded by instructors and all artwork made in relation to course expectations.

Artworks created at the School of Art and Design are in the disciplines of painting, drawing, photography, illustration, graphic design, furniture design, ceramics, small metals, blacksmithing, and, mixed media artworks as many course projects encourage students to explore media to expand their understanding of what is possible beyond the strictest definition of a particular discipline.

Exhibition awards are generously donated by these amazing local business: Art Outfitters materials awards, Boulevard Bread Company starving artist awards, Cantrell Gallery custom framing award, Gallery 26 custom framing awards, Hearne Fine Art custom framing award, The Root Cafe starving artist awards, Alman Recycling Company materials award, and Trio’s Restaurant starving artist award.
