Mini Professional Development Series for Faculty – Spring 2022

March 2, 2022 at 10:00 am - April 26, 2022 at 11:59 pm

This semester, we are partnering again with the Ottenheimer Library for another Mini Professional Development Series for Faculty: 15-minute videos (or less) posted on Blackboard weekly (on demand) on various topics, including library databases as affordable learning content, like American Indian Newspapers or Open Textbook Library, to help promote inclusive and diverse perspectives in the classroom. The series also goes over new ways for faculty to consider the diverse learning needs and styles of students by implementing gamification or proper accessibility practices into their courses. Lastly, the MPDS focuses on resources to support faculty and student success including the new Course Reading List tool in Blackboard.

Participants can earn 3 ATLE points each week, from March 2 – April 20, by taking Blackboard quizzes. For background on the Mini Professional Development Series or instructions on how to sign up, visit the library’s website for more information. You can also access the registration link here.
