Kevin Cates is the Graphic Design Professor at the UA Little Rock School of Art and Design. Every seven years tenured instructors are given a semester of leave from teaching and committee duties to focus on their professional and academic growth. A Sabbatical can be used to begin, continue, or finish a project or projects.On exhibition in Kevin’s sabbatical exhibition are a series of completed freelance projects. Kevin brings this real-world experience into the class room where he instructs and guides students along those same paths.
