On December 6, 2017, the UA Little Rock College of Business was welcomed into the CFA Institute’s University Affiliation Program. An Affiliated University signals to their students and to employers that their curriculum is closely tied to the practice of investment management and is helpful to students preparing for the CFA Program exams.
Economics and Finance faculty members Dr. Andy Terry and Dr. Ashvin Vibhakar led the qualification and transition process which saw the College of Business meet the eligibility requirements of the CFA Institute. Affiliated Universities are granted access to a vast archive of resources from the CFA Institute, including journals, degree program sample exams, eBooks, and statistical services.
UA Little Rock College of Business students will also now have the CFA Program Awareness Scholarship made available to them. Three of these scholarships are awarded to each Affiliated University per year.
