Student Development Specialist

Justin Williams

Justin Williams started as the SCJC student development specialist in January 2023. Justin is also a graduate of the UA Little Rock’s MA in Criminal Justice program (Go Trojans!). He also received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock from the School of Criminal Justice and Criminology. As a M.A. student, Justin’s research interests included the study of post-traumatic stress disorder ( PTSD) in the law enforcement community, with a specific interest in mental health/stability. He is also very interested in teaching courses on Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Crime and Evidence, and Police and Society. Higher Education Institution (HEI) Coordinator

Nina Hale

Nina Hale joined the School of Criminal Justice and Criminology (SCJC) as the higher education institution program coordinator in August 2024. Before her current role, Nina worked at the University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College for six years, where she gained valuable experience in student services and academic support. Nina is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Criminology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, with plans to graduate in fall 2025. She previously earned her associate degree from UA–Pulaski Tech in fall 2023. A proud student and dedicated professional, Nina is passionate about education and supporting student success. Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending quality time with her children, relaxing at home, and binge-watching her favorite TV shows. Nina can be reached at [email protected].
