Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies present Amreeka, a film about the Arab American immigrant experience.  This heartwarming and eye opening feature film follows a single mother and her son as they settle into small town Illinois.  Their bittersweet search for a place to call home echoes universal themes of immigrants and first-generation teenagers caught between their heritage and the new world in which they now live.  Discussion to follow.
