Te Ata movie

Produced by the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma, the film tells the story of Te Ata (1895-1995), internationally known Chickasaw actor and storyteller, who traveled the world educating audiences about Native American cultures. The screenplay was written by Jeannie Barbour, Chickasaw writer and artist. The cast includes Native actors Q’orianka Kilcher as Te Ata, Graham Greene as Chickasaw Governor Douglas H. Johnston, and Gil Birmingham as Thomas Benjamin Thompson.
