Project Manager – James Cone Construction

James Cone Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager.  The PM is key within the organization as they oversee all aspects of the construction process from inception to close out by thoroughly and creatively estimating and pricing the project, effectively scheduling and being diligent in completing the project.  The PM places their loyalty to the owner of the project, above all other relationships.  They are responsible to develop contract agreements with owners, subcontractors and vendors and to provide communication with all interested parties to ensure that the company exceeds the owners’ expectations.

PM responsibilities include: 1.  Manage financial requirements of projects while ensuring the projects quality and safety standards are met.  2.  Conduct project meetings for ongoing and prospective projects.  3.  Responsible for timely processing of all invoices. 4.  Manages the development, evaluation, engineering, design, controls, procurement, and construction phases of project implementation in order to ensure project completion as efficiently and effectively as possible.  5.  Interface with contractors to assure all objectives are met including compliance, quality, cost, and schedule.

Bachelor’s degree in an accredited construction related curriculum preferred.  Must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years Project Management construction experience in the contract range of $1-mil to $20-million. This position is not an entry-level position.  Experience is required.  Compensation will be commensurate with experience and abilities
