Congratulations to the Faculty Excellence award winners for the year of 2016!
The College of Engineering and Information Technology is proud to announce the college’s award recipients: Ningning Wu for teaching, Shucheng Yu for research and Thomas Wallace for service. They have emerged as leaders in these fields by devoting much of their time and resources to achieve greater accomplishments.
The Faculty Excellence awards were established by the university in 1988 to recognize and reward faculty prestige in three primary areas: teaching, research or creative endeavors and professional and public service.
Recognition is given at the college level as well as at the university level. Winners at the college level receive a certificate and a cash gift of $1,000 and university level winners receive $10,000 for teaching and $5,000 for research and public service. University winners will be announced at the annual ceremony.
Again, the EIT department is proud to house these individuals who have taken their talents to an outstanding level. For more information about the Faculty Excellence awards, visit https://ualr.edu/facultyexcellence/about-faculty-excellence/.
