The Department of Earth Sciences invites you to join us to dig for quartz crystals at Ron Coleman Mining in Jessieville, Arkansas on Saturday, October 16, 2021. We will meet out at the quartz mine and take a quick tour of the showroom and quartz warehouse areas before heading into the group digging area. Your entrance fee is covered by the department! More information, including map and directions, will be provided the week before the trip for all those that RSVP.
