Mobile Summer Institute on Scientific Teaching

MoSI is a national renowned immersive, active learning workshop provided to faculty members at UA Little Rock. Don’t be fooled by the name. This development workshop is open to all faculty to benefit students across all disciplines. MoSI is designed to help faculty members increase learning opportunities for all students through the implementation of evidence-based practices such as active learning. Statistics show that these approaches help to lower the DFW (drop, fail, withdraw) rate for all students, and decreases the equity gap (disproportionately lower academic outcomes for underserved students). You can help by funding this workshop, which will improve success for all students, leading to increased retention and enrollment rates while also enhancing our students’ learning experience.
