Workshops

McNair Scholars Program staff facilitate various workshops to assist students in preparing for application to and success in graduate programs in collaboration with faculty and professionals.  Workshops range in topics and include, but are not limited to: graduate school application processes; preparing a curriculum vita (CV); preparing a personal statement; how to request letters of recommendation; funding options; and how to choose an advisor. The McNair Scholars Program also collaborates with other offices so that Scholars can take advantage of various UA Little Rock opportunities.

Some of our workshops are only available to McNair Scholars. An example of how these workshops would appear in the Google calendar is: Presenting Your Research (McNair Scholars only). All other workshops are open to any enrolled UA Little Rock student. There is limited space in the workshops and McNair Scholars retain priority.
