Tip-off for the UALR women’s basketball match-up between the Trojans and the No. 3 seed Oklahoma is at 8:45 p.m. The game will be shown on ESPN2 and online on ESPN 360. Radio broadcast of the game will be on KARN 920 AM with Phil Elson.

The Trojan Tip In Club is sponsoring a watch party tonight beginning at 8:30 in the bar at Embassy Suites, 11301 Financial Centre Parkway. Fans are invited to join the party.

The Trojans enter the match-up 27-7 overall after beating No. 6 Georgia Tech 63-53 Sunday and advancing to the team’s first-ever NCAA second round. UALR recorded the school record for most overall victories in a season with the win.

Oklahoma advanced to the second round after defeating South Dakota State 68-57 and enter the match-up 24-10 overall.

This will be the fourth meeting between the two teams. OU leads the all-time series between the two teams 3-0. The first meeting was on January 11, 1988 in Norman with the Trojans losing 99-67.

The next meeting was on December 11, 1999 also in Norman. UALR lost 102-72. The final meeting was at UALR on December 5, 2000 with OU winning 86-45.
