After the first day of tournament fishing at the West Super Regional on Lake Tyler in Tyler, Texas, the UALR Bass Fishing Team Trent Gephardt and Brian Duckett is in fifth place with 16 pounds of fish.

The first place team from Friends University in Kansas is only 2.04 pounds in the lead. The UALR team of Josh Thomson and Brian Caserta are in 30th place with 7.96 pounds of fish.
