Dr. Jane Wayland, chair of the Marketing and Advertising Department in UALR’s College of Business, has joined the Women’s Advisory Council at Delta Trust and Bank.

The Women’s Advisory Council lends personal and professional advice and counsel to the management and board of directors of Delta Trust. The advice encompasses ideas and suggestions to ensure that Delta Trust’s services meet the needs of women and their families as well as their businesses and professions.

Wayland joins the following other community leaders in Central Arkansas on the council, including Leila Alston, vice president of Network Development at Baptist Health System; Sharri Jones, board member at Sissy’s Log Cabin; Mimi San Pedro, chief operating officer & chief marketing officer at P. Allen Smith Companies; Vicky Jacoby, civic leader and chair; Sandra Connor, civic leader; Shayla Copas, Copas Interiors; Dr. Leslie Dickinson, Dickinson Dental; Tamika Edwards, office of Senator Blanche Lincoln; Janice Goodwin, Goodwin Travel; Julie Jones, J. Jones Interiors; Gay White, former first lady of Arkansas; Carole Smith, bank staff liaison; and Jane Rogers, bank board liaison.
