An essay written by Michael Kleine, professor of rhetoric and writing, will appear in Writing About Writing, a compilation of the best articles about writing in the 20th century.

His essay, “What Is It We Do When We Write Papers Like This One ─ And How Can We Get Students to Join Us?” was originally published in the Spring/Summer 1987 edition of The Writing Instructor. Writing About Writing that will be published later this year by Bedford/St. Martin.
