Concert Pianist Roger McVey, an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-River Fall, will present a solo recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at the newly renovated Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in UALR’s Fine Arts Building at UALR.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Sponsored by the Department of Music, McVey will perform works by Bach, Scirabin, Rachmaninoff, and others.

At 3 p.m. Saturday, McVey will teach a piano masterclass with two UALR undergraduate students and two students with UALR’s Community School of the Arts. This event, also free and open to the public, will also take place at the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall.
