The campus community bids a fond farewell to two stalwarts this week – Cheryl Chapman, director of UALR Children International, and Preston Slayden, division chief of student development.

A retirement reception honoring Chapman is scheduled for 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, in the atrium of the Donald W. Reynolds Business Center at University and 28th Street.

Slayton will be honored at reception from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, in Ledbetter Hall B and C in the Donaghey Student Center.
