Two Alums Named 2012 Notables in Central Ark.

Two graduates of the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law are featured in the Jan. 24 edition of Sync Weekly’s “2012 Notable People”.

Tamika Silverman Edwards graduated from the law school in December and also holds a master’s degree from UALR. Cory Biggs is a graduate of the law school’s concurrent program with the Clinton School of Public Service. Edwards and Biggs were among the 12 central Arkansas citizens who were nominated by the public to appear in the profile.

Edwards, a former community affairs specialist for former Sen. Blanche Lincoln, is the director of public policy for Southern Bancorp Community Partners, the nonprofit side of the development bank Southern Bancorp. Biggs is the director of First Tee, the local chapter of a national organization that works to teach life skills through golf. Read more…
